Pro-grade bones for $1,399. Bring your own spindle and patience.
On paper this is remarkable: HG-15 rails and 16 mm ball screws on every axis, closed-loop 2.6 Nm NEMA 23s and a heavy 46 × 80 mm extrusion frame, for the price of a belt machine a few years ago. It’s the same hardware as FoxAlien’s bigger XE-Ultra 8080.
But the spindle and spoilboard aren’t included, the footprint is big for a 17-inch bed, and there are very few owner reviews yet. If you like to set up and tune a machine yourself, it could be the value pick of the year.
