Pocket NC V2-10
True simultaneous 5-axis machining on a desktop, made in Montana.
Five axes on a desk is still a small miracle. Make sure you need them.
The Pocket NC does something nothing else on this list can: simultaneous five-axis machining, with the part tilting and spinning under the spindle. For small, complex parts — impellers, jewelry, organic shapes — it’s incredible to watch, and it’s made in the USA.
The envelope is tiny, the spindle is light, and five-axis CAM has a real learning curve and cost of its own. It’s a fantastic tool for engineers, educators and jewelers who already know they need five axes. For everyone else, a three-axis machine plus a rotary will cover most jobs.
